AgromoParticipantHi,
After updating Amazon Pay to the Amazon Pay V2 that was I kept seeing the notification for on the backend, the Amazon Pay button showed up with an error. The error I noticed was that the button was disfigured and had a overlapping issue with the texts that were supposed to be below the button, showed up on the bottom part of the button. I had a developer try to fix it using custom css, but he told me it didn’t work. I then reached out to the Amazon Pay support team, which later put me in contact with one of their developers. I was then told that they checked, and integration issue didn’t seem to be from Amazon Pay. I was also told that generally, display issues occur because of theme compatibility issues, and that I’m using the Woodmart theme from themeforest which is known to cause display issues. Even after being told that, I decided to hired someone else that specialized in Payment gateway integration for help, but he also told me he used css to fix the error, but it wasn’t working. With that being said, I would like you to help me figure this out and see if this may really be a theme compatibility issue. Please see screenshot below. Thanks.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please check how it works with the default wordpress theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not.
Also provide a screenshot of its working with the default wordpress theme.
Best Regards

AgromoParticipantHi,
I’m not sure that I understood what you were asking me to do in your message above. Also, the developer already signed off on the projects a few weeks ago, so I can’t forward your instructions to him. If backup is not really needed so I may lose any updates, and if you don’t mind, I would appreciate it if you would be able to check it yourself with the default wordpress theme. Thanks.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have logged into your website and checked by activating the Storefront theme and the issue is the same.

Which clears that the issue is not from our theme. I have reactivated the WoodMart theme on your website. You can try activating the Storefront theme yourself.
Regards.

AgromoParticipantHi,
I thought the theme was just WoodMart. What do you mean for me to reactivate the “Storefront theme” myself?

AgromoParticipantHi,
Please disregard my last above message, I figured out what you meant. I guess you were just suggesting that I try out the Storefront theme myself to see the error with the button also using that theme. But anyway, I searched and found a developer that somehow figured out that it was not actually an overlapping, but for some unknown reason, the texts below the button also had a yellow background like the color of the Amazon Pay button that made everything looked like they were overlapping. He later used custom css to remove the yellow background from the texts below the button.
I just have 2 other issues I noticed on the website that I would like you to help me with. One, I noticed today that when I added an item to the cart then pressed the shopping bag icon, that instead of seeing the item in the side cart that I would usually see when I viewed the website in the Google or Safari browsers, and even in the Incognito browser in the past, that when I used the Incognito browser today, I was sent straight to the official cart page instead of the side cart.
Second, I noticed a few weeks now that the products on the Related Items product slider (renamed “You May Also Like), are not similar or related to the main product being viewed on the single product detail page, except for items from the “Dresses” and “Handbags” categories. I asked the developer to fix it at the time when I first noticed it, but he said he didn’t know how. I would appreciate it if you would look into it. Thanks.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
We are Glad that you found a solution to your problem.
1) You are using the old version of the Theme. Please update Theme and Woodmart Core plugin to the latest version then check back.
2) Related Products is a section that pulls products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product.
You need to make sure that the products must share some tags or categories then check back.
Best Regards

AgromoParticipantHi,
The following things I listed below are some errors I noticed on the website. A couple of them I spoke to you about some days ago. I really hope these are some things that could be resolve very soon, because my goal was to launch my website by Friday, but it all depends on these errors getting resolve and fixed in time. Sorry for listing so many things at once, but after I updated the theme, Woodmart Core and WordPress like you suggested, and even some other plugins, I thought these things would be automatically fixed, and I don’t have much time left.
1). Shopping Bag icon is not working when you’re not signed into the website. You could only see it once you’re signed in. When you’re signed out, you see only the main cart page when you click on the shopping bag icon. I updated WordPress, the theme and Woodmart Core like you suggested, but this is still a problem. I also cleared the cache on my computer. And the errors are the same with Incognito.
2). Whenever you’re viewing the website and not signed in, the “Clothing” and “Accessories” subcategory dropdowns doesn’t appear.
3). When I tried to open the hamburger menu icon on my tablet or phone to go to one of the categories, it doesn’t open up. This happens when you’re not signed in, but it works whenever you’re signed in.
4). Contact Us” page is not working properly. It has errors. It was set as a popup, now it’s not and it’s cut off in some areas, the white side with the fields are higher than the black side, and it just looked more like a regular page instead of a popup. I noticed that on the Contact Us page, it has “?cms_block=9817” at the ending on the page’s URL. I’m not use if it has something to do with the error.
5). When I clicked “GIFT CARD” on the header, I’m sent straight to the real gift card page, but when I clicked Gift Card on the footer menu, the Gift Card page is different and looked nothing like the actual gift card page. It also has a different URL than the official page.
6). Whenever I add a product to the cart, a long green horizontal label pops up with the “View Cart” information and product name. This was not seen previously before last week. I would like that disabled.
7). Please disable the red label “Hot” that I see on some of the images. I noticed seeing it after you enabled the Sold Out label some days ago on the single product page.
8). I spoke to you some days ago concerning the issues with the Related Items (renamed “YOU MAY ALSO LIKE”) images not being related to the main products on the single product detail pages. Only products in “Dresses” and “Handbags” showed related items correctly on the slider. I had the developer looked into it, but he said he couldn’t see the problem. Please look into what may be causing it. I would really appreciate it, because if the developer didn’t know what to do after looking at the tags, I don’t think I would be able to fix it.
Thanks
