Product images uneven display problem

Many of our product images have different sizes. For this reason, when viewing products, if we see an image above and one below, a very irregular image is formed.

I followed the steps in the link above, but I still couldn’t have a proper product image. I want the products to appear the same size and aligned with each other.
Do I need to set all product images to the same size for this?
For example, do all the images on the site have to be 1000×1000 or 800×800?
What would you recommend to make the images look aligned and even?

Yes, the best solution is to upload images of the equal size and proportion. This cropping helps when images size differs slightly. This is the image nature and it cannot be corrected with CSS, unfortunately.
