Contact Us Popup Form Keeps Popping Up

Hi,

Like I mentioned above, it happens at random and doesn’t happen all the time, so you may not necessarily see it when you go to the website. However, it happens often enough. It should be the newsletter popup that the visitors are greeted with first when they enter the website, not the Contact Us popup. I didn’t send you a screenshot before of the issue, because I thought my explanation of the problem was straightforward and would be easily understood. Anyway, see below for the screenshot I took of it. Usually if someone clicks the “Contact Us” link on the footer, you’ll see a full black background around the popup, but as you’ll see in the screenshot, the popup opens up at random by itself, that’s why the background shows the website page layout instead of the black background. I hope my explanation now and the screenshot will give you a better understanding of the issue. Thanks.

I was using the Incognito browser at the time I sent you that screenshot. Also, I was told before to disable the cache plugin on my site by one of you guys about 1-2 weeks ago, and it’s still deactivated.

I’m still having issues with the Contact Us form in the popup format, popping up several times a day untouched. So, I would like to know how I could change it from the popup format to just being a page layout? Thanks.

When I said change the Contact Us form from the popup format to just being a page layout, I meant that I no longer want the Contact Us form to be a popup, because it keeps popping up on the website all the time without being clicked on. The Contact Us form was originally on a page, then I asked the developer that setup the website to change it to the popup format. I hope you understand now what I was trying to explain in my last message. Thanks.

When you say edit the page then put the contact form element there, what did you mean “put the contact form element there”? How would I be able to transfer the contact form element to the newly created page?

I was told at response #328934 that “you need to go to Dashboard -> Pages and create a new page. Then, edit this page and put the contact form element there.” I went to the Dashboard, but nothing just showed “Pages”. The only similar option to that was “Manage Pages”, but when I clicked on it, I didn’t see an option to create a new page. I only saw a bunch of different pages that were already created. However, I decided to go to the “Contact Us” page, but couldn’t figured out what you meant by “You need to add the Element contact form using the Contact form element to the contact page”.

I’ll just give you my login information so you could login like you mentioned before. But I would like to explain that I don’t want the default look of the Contact page with the map on it, and I would like to keep the same black & white theme. I also don’t want the social media buttons to be multicolored like the default ones. I’m hoping this will be a quick fix without me needing to hire someone to customize it further. Thanks.

Hi, I haven’t been able to see the page you just created, I’m still seeing the popup when I go to the footer then click on the Contact Us link. And when I clicked on the link you provided in your last above message, this is what I saw. Please check the screenshot below.

How do I change the Contact Us popup link on the footer then add the link to the contact up page you created?

I noticed the contact us page you setup is not showing the black header before scrolling down, it’s only seen when you start scrolling down, and the header seems to be placed either too close to the information on the page, or it’s overlapped on the top part of it. Please see the screenshot below where some the categories listed on the header were visible on the black right side of the page, without the black header. Thanks.

I’ll have to hire a developer to change the Contact Us page link xcfon the footer, because I’m not familiar with anything HTML Block, and it sounds very technical.

As for the overlapping header issue, I’ve disabled this thing several times before, including a few minutes ago by unchecking the box then clicking on “Save” afterwards. However, when I went to another tab then checked the header overlap section again, the box was checked and showed Overlap again. I tried this several times consecutively, but each time I went back to the area, it was still showing Overlap for the header. Something may be overriding it, because you also told me that you fixed the header overlap issue yesterday that was causing some issues with some of the headers on the website.

I have checked the link to the Contact Us page you sent me, and I saw that the overlapping issue was fixed. However, I realized that the header showed 2 different shades/color on that page. It looks dark grayish before scrolling down, then black while scrolling down. It should be black at all times, the same shade/color.

After I recently hired a developer to add the Contact Us page that was created to the footer, to replace the Contact popup form, because it kept popping up all the time without you even clicking on it, it’s now doing the same thing and popping up at random a few times a day while I’m on the website. This should not be happening since the page replaced the popup. I need some help with this. Thanks.
