I have a running website that uses your theme. However, I realize that I might make some modifications on the function.php file and therefore I need a child theme.
It it too late now to have a child theme? If not, Would you please guide me to switch to the child theme?
It is never late to install and use the child theme. 🙂
Please upload the theme folder from the ThemeForest there should be a ready child theme, if there is no, please give me your email address I will send you.
When you switch to the child them nothing would happen. If you add custom code with errors, the site may be impacted. I suggest making the full backup of your site before any considerable customization so that you could always restore the site if something goes wrong.
