    Hi,

I’m constantly told my multiple people in the past that I hired to fix or setup certain things on my website, that the page builder I have WPBakery is very limited or not user friendly, so they ended up using CSS to accomplish a lot of things, including very simple requests. What could I do about this, because I don’t want to keep using custom CSS on my website, especially when I think it’s helping to slow down the speed, and in the past when certain customized features broke, I had to repay or waste time redoing them again? Thanks.

    Hello,

There was one update only that could influence the CSS. You can read more here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/woodmart-update-6-0-explained/

You will find the table showing which classes have been changed, and these CSS snippets that stopped working should be checked and corrected accordingly.

Hi, you missed the whole point of my inquiry. I was explaining that WPBakery is being limiting causing developers and other to keep using CSS to customize a lot of things, including very small things that a good page builder should be able to provide. I don’t want to re-write it again, so if you don’t mind, please re-read my first initial message above. Thanks.

    Hello,

WoodMart theme has the list of the theme-related plugins and WP bakery is in this list, however, our support does not cover fixing, customization, or customization investigation with the correction related to these plugins.

As I understand you have excessive CSS. The only way to clear it and leave the necessary one is to copy it all in a separate file and find the snippets that you need.

If you have any questions related to the WoodMart options, and WP bakery integration please provide more details we will do our best to help.

    Best Regards

Hi, you’ve said this to me a few times before that your support team doesn’t provide fixing or customizations even when I don’t ask that of you, and you keep repeating this. When did I requested that you fixed or customize anything from what I stated above? I just simply asked you your expertise advice on what I could do concerning the WPBakery page builder that the developer used to help setup the website. I know that some themes come with a package deal of a theme, plus a particular plugin to be used together. I don’t know if that was why the developer chose to use WPBakery instead of a better choice like Elementor. Everyone that I’ve ever hired to do even the simplest of things on my site, complained about the WPBakery page builder being very limited and not easy to work with, and asked why I didn’t use Elementor to setup the website in the first place. I heard that Elementor’s free plan is still good to work with, and they have a paid plan if you need to do more. Maybe WPBakery is the same thing, I don’t know, I was just asking what I could do about the builder’s limitations. There should be no need for you to do any special investigation on such a simple question.

As for you saying that I have “excess” CSS, how do you know that they are mostly unnecessary and needed to be cleared, especially when you saw that my website is highly customized, and most likely the CSS are for specific customizable features that would probably break if removed? Most of the CSS would probably not be needed if the page builder was better.

I’m not trying to be rude or anything, but you and I don’t usually seem to be on the same page most times, and don’t often understand each other, so maybe it would be better to have someone else response to my topics. Thanks.

    Hello,

I have read your first message carefully, and you say:

so they ended up using CSS to accomplish a lot of things

    then you say

I was explaining that WPBakery is being limited causing developers and others to keep using CSS to customize a lot of things, including very small things that a good page builder should be able to provide

As I understand, your developers added CSS to achieve the goals that are just configured in plugins or elements.

If I follow you wrong, and if you have any problems or incorrect WoodMart work, please list them one by one with screens and steps to reproduce the problem.

I am sorry If I misunderstood you.

    Best Regards
