Language files are deleted after update. Child theme doesn’t work on languages.

I do hope you have made the backup of the site, if so, restore the site from the backup.

Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. Then update the theme.
If you do not have a backup, try to contact the host support, perhaps there is an automatic site backup.

I already did the translation with Loco Translate. But since the translation files are saved in the /themes/Theme/languages/ folder, it deletes these files with the update. I always have to take a backup before updating.

You need to save the translation properly once not to lose it during each update. The correct route is languages/themes/woodmart-{locale}.po
