Search for MPN

    Hello,

    I love your Theme and every day I understand more your logic!!!

    Now I build a shop for car parts. I have a own SKU, but the manufactor has a own number, the MPN number. Therefore I have create a product attribute to fill the MPN, when I have some one.

    I wish me, that the Search function also crawl my MPN, because some customers knows these MPN numbers and search for this.

    Do you have an idea to realize that in the theme search?

    Hello,

    We are happy that you love our theme 🙂

    Search mechanism comes with WooCommerce plugin and it doesn’t take product attributes into consideration for better performance. Sorry, but we are not able to change it in our theme scope.

    Hello,

    thank you for your answer. I have found a Plugin named Relevanssi, with that I can make a index for my attribute.

    The Problem is, that the search is correct when I press Enter after fill some Characters in the search bar, but the AJAX results above shows “no products found”. When I press Enter, I became a right result list.

    You know this PlugIn? (Is more than 100000 installations)

    Which AJAX Search you implemented, I can ask the Support from Relevanssi?

    Hello,

    If you use this plugin you can simply disable our AJAX search since it doesn’t influence it. Sorry, but our AJAX search mechanism doesn’t support this plugin.
