Woocommerce Subscription Not Fully Working

I am trying to use WooCommerce Subscriptions for monthly and also single purchase. For simple products subscriptions work fine. When it is a variable product with multiple variants, even though the option to choose a subscription is there, when you choose it and add to cart, it only adds the single purchase item and not the subscription.
I contacted Woocommerce Subscriptions and they told me there is a theme conflict and to get support.

The developers of Woo Commerce Subscriptions tried:
“I did a “Live Preview” of the same Neato Greens product with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One) and that resolved the display issue for the options.
So it seems that with a stock theme that it worked fine.
