Endless loading/spinner after placing order

Hi there,
Recently every time someone makes an order on our Shop Page appears a spinner and stays there forever. Orders took place but customers doesn’t receive a notification on the Page that the order has been completed successfully therefore they replicate the order 2-3 times.
It used to work just fine (normally taking a bit too much time but working) so I’m not sure what could be the problem. Any help will be really appreciate.

I think I finally found the problem. It was “Transactional Emails causing trouble”
I read about that on some servers, the sending of checkout-related emails can cause trouble. Deferring the emails from sending until after the order is sent through, clearly speeds things up and after several tests with no errors. Hope problem has totally been solved.
