Stop fa-solid and fa-brands fonts from loading

    Hello,

    I would like to stop the following font awesome files for loading on every page load (from GT Metrics I can see they are loaded with each page load). Can you tell me how I do this – to disable font awesome altogether? I cannot see this in the settings.

    fa-solid-900.woff2
    fa-brands-400.woff2

    Hello,

    I have managed to get one of those font files to stop loading (by removing the icon from the page design) but there is still this one below that is loading:

    plugins/js_composer/assets/lib/bower/font-awesome/webfonts/fa-solid-900.woff2

    I use the “FAQ” element which has icons for the bullet points. Are these icons also from font awesome?

    UPDATE – OK I have found what is causing the Font Awesome to load. I am using a message box which has an icon in it. Is there any way I can use this message box without an icon? I do not see an option to remove the icon? Or without having to load an icon from an outside source?

    UPDATE- You can close this ticket. I see I can use a standard information box!
