How is the fade effect created?

Hello,

On your demo site “furniture” right before the footer, the lowest section shows an image which is faded.

Would you kindly advise how this fade effect is configured?

Hi, thank you for your answer.

Please let me clarify my question: I asked about how is the fade effect made in the background image. At the bottom the image displays with full brightness, but then as you move up the image (from the area of the floor to the area of the sofa), the image becomes white until in completely fades away.

This is an effect which I did not figure where it is configured. Please advise.
