Site performance issue since we installed the most latest version woodmart theme

    Hey,

    We go one issue recently, out site perform very slow even shut down after once a while without any traffic since we installed the latest version woodmart theme. Can you help me check and give any solution?

    we got the data from newrelic, woodmart is the top time-consuming plugin, which takes us 3 S, far more than any other plugin.

    Hello,

    Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

    We replicate the site in a new instance, disabled all plugins and woodmart theme, we use TwentyTwenty as you recommend, the site works perfectly, there is always enough memory.

    Then we reactivate Woodmart chile theme with elementor + wprocket, the site is slowing down and the memory usage is very high again.

    So the evidence shows woodmart cause the performance issue, any solution?

    But you say that it happens when you activate Elementor + WP Rocket so it doesn’t mean that it is affected by our theme only. To see if it is caused by our theme or not, you need to create a page with Elementor that will have the same number of elements and compare between WoodMart and default theme.

    In your theme info says that Elementor is totally compatible with Woodmart theme (also to import dummy content, Elementor is required (see screenshots attached):

    In addition to my last comment, to use and import dummy content is also required Slider Revolution.. just with it.. without traffic.. site is using more than 1 GB (check attached evidence)

    Yes, to import our dummy content you need to either install Elementor or WPBakery page builder.
    As for Slider Revolution, you can uninstall it completely after importing the dummy content if you don’t want to use it.

    But if your hosting server can’t handle such simple plugins as Elementor, WP Rocket or Slider revolution we would recommend you try another one. We recommend you use A2 Hosting for WordPress website https://www.a2hosting.com/wordpress-hosting

    Have u access to our site, is there any other analysis for it ??

    We followed woocommerce server recommendations:

    My server is hosted in AWS Amazon Lightsail Instances
    2 GB RAM, 1 vCPU
    60 GB SSD, Apache/2.4.48 (Unix) OpenSSL/1.1.1d
    PHP Version: 7.4.21, WordPress Memory Limit: 512M
    I also attached my current Site Status config and actual memory usage report

    We checked the loading time with default WordPress theme TwentyTwenty as you recommend, the site works perfectly, there is always enough memory.

    Is there any incompatibility with elementor based on latest woodmart ?
    What are the system requirements for Woodmart ?

    As i mentioned on title: site performance issue since we installed the most latest version, before it was with reasonable memory usage performance.

    Can u please help us and find a fix. Many thanks 🙂

    If it happens with the latest version only, are you able to upload a previous version of the theme where it worked well so we can compare them?

    1. No, our theme is fully compatible with Elementor.

    2. WoodMart theme doesn’t have any special requirements. Your hosting should support WordPress.

    3. We didn’t test it yet. We have to see the difference to understand if there are any issues with the latest version.

    You wrote that it happens with the current version only. Could you please verify it somehow? Install both versions so we can compare them.

    Or should we test with the default theme now? In this case, you need to create some test page that will contain a similar number of elements like products, images, posts etc. Because most likely you tested with the default theme without any content added. And when you test with WoodMart, you have a full page filled with some content.
