main navigation drop down on hover

How can i make drop down on hove on main navigation ? Please tell me step by step with the help of screen shot in every step.

You need to go to the Dashboard > Appearance > Menu.

My requirement is a button with no link and under that i want to show multiple pages links. To do this i went to menu then i chose custom link with #. There i could not find any hover or drop down thigs. For more information see below
