    1) Sees that the name of the product variations is added as a layer over the product image both in the catalog and on the product page. Can this be removed?

    2) Even though I have disabled the product variations for a product, are they still at the top of the product image?

    Your issue is not clear enogh. Please provide the steps by step instructions to reproduce the problem with the screens.
