icons disappeared

Hello,
I have noticed that the font awesome have been disappeared from my website as you can see in the photo in the private area
The cart icon, search icon, social icons, menu icons, all these icons have been disappeared. You need to surf in a private session of chrome browser where there is no cookies in order to see this problem.
What is making me crazy is that I have two environments (live and dev). Both of them has the same configuration where the “Font Awesome library” is set on “Don’t use”, everything is working fine on the dev environment but not on the live environment!
I have set it to “Always use” on the live environment and then I set it again to “Dont use” on the same environment and the font awesome came back again
Do you have an explanation? Can I keep it always on “Dont use” now in order to boost my performance since it has been loaded correctly?
