broken links from share tool

    Hi.

    I’m getting hundreds of broken links reports on links like these (xxx is typed by me): https://xxx.xxx/blog/page/2/\”https:\/\/pinterest.com\/pin\/create\/button\/?url=https:\/\/xxx.xxx\/blog\/&media=https:\/\/muchay.pt\/wp-content\/media\/2021\/05\/xxx.jpg&description=xxx”

    It seems like an error created from the share buttons on the theme.

    How can I fix this?

    Hello,

    No WordPress theme generates any links, and WoodMart does not eigher.

    You will need to delete the broken links in the Google Console of your site.

    Hi.

    Overall, that would be true, but the theme has sharer.php which generates the links to share. It’s creating those links with that structure to share on social or email and those are creating 404 errors for some reason.

    They have not broken links, these links are necessary to share the image in photo swipe.
