    I have many comments on your new forum

    1) After commenting a post, the updated post doesn’t appear on top of my tickets list. I suspect that those pages are being cached. They should never be cached.

    2) I am totally sure of having made an additional reply (after the comment #352773) on a post yesterday (https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/email-notification-not-received-since-new-layout-of-this-forum/) but my reply has completely disappeared! I’m totally sure I made this reply, where is it?

    3) Please give us a way to close tickets by ourselves. We always need to ask you to close a ticket, which is counterproductive. Allow us to close them ourselves.

    4) A closed ticket shall never allow any new reply. Please remove this new label “This topic is marked as closed to new replies, however your posting capabilities still allow you to do so.

    5) In the past, if a topic was very very long (which can often happen), we had the navigation pages at the top of the topic. Now, we only have it at the bottom of the page.

    This is very annoying because we need to keep scrolling down to the page to navigate. Please put back the naviguation pages both at the top & bottom of the page.

    Today again, I just created a new ticket on your new forum.

    This new topic doesn’t appear anywhere in my Account Topics started, and also doesn’t appear anywhere in the list of recent topics created by everyone on the forum.

    Please resolve this forum problems, it’s critical.

    One more problem : in the past, closed tickets used to appear “greyed out” in the list of topics.

    Now it’s not the case anymore, and it’s very annoying because it’s so difficult now to distinguish topics still open in my account from those still pending for reply.

    Please grey out (like before) the topics once they’re closed. Or any other way, like if a topic is closed, put the title in green or whatever, but please distinguish visually the topics open/closed.

    Like it used to be.

    Today again I lost a “reply” made on a topic that was supposedly closed, this one : https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/woodmart-mobile-sidebar-compatibility-with-wp-rocket-delay-js/

    There was the label “This topic is marked as closed to new replies, however your posting capabilities still allow you to do so.”

    but since I could make a reply, I did. The reply disappeared… please fix this

    => a closed topic should not allow replies.
    => otherwise, if you allow replies, then fix the issue so that replies don’t disappear

    One more problem. In the new style, we have the “My Account” on the top right but if I want to go to my Forum Profile, I need to first open the Dashboard then click on Forum Profile, then click on Topics Started. That’s a bit too long considering that you could simply just add a shortcut in the header.

    After “My Account”, please add in your header “Forum Profile” with the different tabs on a dropdown
    – Profile
    – Topics started
    – Replies created

    it would save us quite a lot of time navigating on the forum, thanks!

    Another problem on your forum : email not sent although subscribed to topic + topic created only 3 days ago (so after your entire review of the forum system)

    Make a reply on a post
    Edit the reply by adding info on private section only.
    The info will not appear anywhere on the post… it used to appear “in private”, but now thing appears at all

    I’m sorry but the bugs on your new forum are being a little annoying now… 🙂

    Hello,

    We had a problem with SMTP and now it is solved so you should get all new emails. The private content field will be fixed also.

    Could you please send us a link to your staging website where we can see your 6.3 beta test website with reported issues?

    It’s not better… I just made a NEW REPLY on the Woodmart Beta forum with credentials in private section

    The reply is a NEW reply, not edited. And the private has disappeared…

    And still some problems remain open that I already mentioned earlier :

    – closed topic still allow replies => NOK, please close them definitively when they’re closed

    – no visual difference between closed/open topics on the list of topics => please grey out like before the closed topics

    – provide us a CLOSE button so WE can close our tickets ourselves, it becomes annoying to always ask YOU to close our tickets, please fix this

    Two additional problems :

    1) If you make a post/reply and you try to edit immediately after, you can’t remove images already added. You can only add more images, but you can’t remove any of the images already posted.

    2) You recently changed the layout of the “add images” on your forum. However, every image we want to add requires 2 CLICKS. First we need to click on the button to “add onother file”, then we need to click again to open the window to select the file. This is extra clicks useless. If we click on “add another file” we should directly open the window to select file, that’s it. Why making it double click every time?

    What’s the update on the remaining problems of your new forum ? I’m still not happy about many of the points reported above that are still not fixed. I don’t want to repeat them, so please check them back again and resolve those issues, especially the fact that closed tickets are not visually distinguished from open tickets in the list of tickets on profile account. This is so annoying, please fix this and all other issues remaining.

    I think there is still an SMTP issue in my opinion. The reply #366720 from your colleague Elise on the below post did not trigger an email on my mailbox. Can you recheck please?
