wildguitarsParticipantGreetings! Please take a look at this link:
https://www.lavamusic.com/lava-me-2When scrolling down, every time there is a text block, a dark background fades in to make the text more readable. Also, the text itself fades in as well, which is beautiful. I’ve also made a screen recording:
https://we.tl/t-hqDSimkWKEIs there any way to do this with WPBakery and WoodMart?
Finally, this page also features many “background videos” that only start playing when scrolling over them, and they only play once. Is there a way to do this as well? In WPBakery I could only find a way to add a background video as a YouTube video and not a video that is hosted in the media.
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
Best regards,

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please insert the site admin access into the Private content below the message area. I have checked the site, I do not see the classes or blocks of the WoodMart theme.
Best Regards

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise,
Thanks as always for the prompt reply.
Perhaps you misunderstood my original message – the link I provided is of a website that I am trying to mimic, it was not created with WoodMart.I am asking if the features of this page can be done through WoodMart.
Best regards,

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The content is created by the builder. Each builder has different options to present. You would better refer to the documentation and video tutorials of the builder you use.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise, thank you for your reply.
The thing is, I don’t even know where to begin in the documentation in video tutorials, I don’t know what to look for.
You and your colleagues are true professionals and are usually able to point me in the right direction even when it comes to matters related to WPBakery and not WoodMart. I was hoping you might help me out with this…perhaps you can at least tell me what I need to look for?March 2, 2022 at 12:48 am #356763
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
If you have not ever worked with either of the builders, I would recommend Elementor. https://elementor.com/help/
As for me, Elementor is easier for newcomers.I would recommend starting with this manual: https://elementor.com/help/template-library/ and https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/templates-library/
Please check the manual on demo upload as well: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/installation-process/ You can choose the ready demo and just replace the content.
Best Regards

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise,
Our WoodMart website has been up since 2018, long before the Elementor builder was introduced into WoodMart. We currently have over 3,000 products that were already built using WPBakery, so correct me if I’m wrong but it would not be possible to switch to Elementor at this stage (which is of course very unfortunate).
Do you have any other suggestions?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
WP Bakery page builder also has WoodMart library: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/templates-library/
You need to update the theme, what is your current version? Please do not hurry to update, make the full backup of your site, it is very important.
Best Regards

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise, I hope to update the theme over the next few days after we resolve the issue with the spinning preloader icon in the categories.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please consider adding uploading this demo as the sample and creating your own basing it: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/layout-parallax/?opt=layout_parallax
You can find the demo in the Dashboard > WoodMart > Demo, please take into consideration that the demo would overwrite the current settings.
Best Regards

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise,
Thank you for your recommendation. I took a look at the demo, and it doesn’t seem like the background opacity changes when scrolling up or down.March 11, 2022 at 6:37 pm #360013
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
All the animations effects are provided in the page builder plugins. This issue is related to the content. You can try applying the option provided by the builder or use Slider Revolution which provides wider options for different opacity extents.
Our support does not cover content creation or configuration. You would better search for a web-master who would implement the effects you wish.
If you have any questions relating to the theme options, please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards
