Disable automatic update of the theme

How can I disable automatic update of the theme?
Because on the production site, if there is a big update, and the woodmart core is required to be updated, the site risks to crash!
The ideal situation will be: A message which reminds me the availability of new version+ possibility not to update it automatically

The theme is not updated automatically. When the new release is launched, you get the notification and the theme would be updated as soon as you press “Update” in Appearance > Themes > WoodMart.
