You can change the font color by means of the Advanced typography option, which allows you to choose the item from a drop-down or insert your custom CSS class. Please navigate to the Theme Settings > Typography > Advanced Typography.
When you set the light color scheme for the drop-down, you need also change each menu item: https://gyazo.com/5b808c7009625b9c43a20866a611a8af You know, the Dropdown menu .color-scheme-dark makes the background but not the text. Alternatively, you can change that with Advanced typography to avoid entering each item and setting the proper color scheme.
