aramParticipantHello,
We have a website, it is running on version 3 of WoodMart, now Redux is installed there, the agency who made this website for us is no longer available. Now, when I update the theme, on the front-end the design is displaced and code is displayed.
The reason we want to update the theme is that the redux framework is causing conflict critical errors when we try to add products to the website. You can try to replicate the error by logging in and clicking on add a new product.
Can you help with this? Thanks!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I would recommend you to arrange a staging site and install a new WordPress installation.
Install the theme and upload the demo (if you want demo) then, recreate the header in the Header builder: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/ you can try export-import header from your live site to the testing: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/how-to-exportimport-headers/
Then recreate or migrate the footer and all the widgets area. As soon as you finish the site configuration, delete all the demo, and import-export the content from you live site.
Finally, you can add the other plugins from the live site one by one checking the site. Then as soon as the site is ready you can move it to the live site.
Updating the theme in the live site would crash part of the site and you will have to recreate some parts of the site in any case.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

aramParticipantHi,
Thank you for your detailed reply. I have started this but when I go to the Theme Settings of the old website it gives an error and doesn’t let me see the options. I need to see them replicate the website. I have attached the error.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
As I told it is almost impossible to update such out-to-dated theme, You need to install the theme from scratch on the new WordPress installation. Please do not install Redux and CMB2.
Please follow the steps I provided above.
Best Regards
