    Hey, guys
    I am redoing my site, and I have some doubts.
    Do I really need to instal the child theme?

    Hello,

    We always recommend using the child theme. Because if you make the customizations on the child theme then they dont be lost after the theme update.

    Hey, Aizaz.

    I would like to ask something about the themes.

    The active theme is the child, but when I translate something I do it in the father theme. Is this how translating works?

    WP shows me 4 themes instaled. The father theme twice. I tried to delet the older version, but I was not possible.

    There has a patcher that I could not implement, and I didn’t understand why.

    U could check the inf in the screenshots below.

    Hello,

    Yes you need to translate the parent theme not the child theme.
    You need to keep only one translation file you can delete the others.

    And please try deleting the theme using cpanel. If you are still unable then provide the FTP details of the website.
