Reply #367573 I need help for a popup button

Hello Ajax-off – we fixed one and broke the other. Now, after sending the form, the popup closes without waiting for the result

    Hi,

Please, describe to us your problems in a bit more detail. Attach some screenshots and provide us with a list of steps on how to reproduce them on your website.

    Thank you in advance.

I covered everything in the application: #367573

    Hello,

    I have noticed an anomaly.

The page has a popup button like a form. (see screenshot)
Everything works fine the first time you open the page.

If you then go to the category (click 2) and then come back (click 3), re-displaying the form does not work. The popup button is inactive

I need help solving a problem

… and disabled Ajax as you suggested. This solved the problem, but a new one was created.

Popup is a form. when we click send, the popup automatically closes (popup window) hiding the sending result. The user does not see whether the form has been sent or must complete the missing required fields.

    Hello,

Do you mean that it happens only when the AJAX shop option is turned off? Please, enable it back temporarily so we can check how it should work.

    Kind Regards

Ajax enabled – we went back to the bug with ticket #367573

But the popup form works in the same way now, right? So it doesn’t depend on the AJAX shop option.

    Kind Regards

Actually, now Ajax doesn’t matter. Interestingly, the first disabling Ajax worked differently, probably thanks to the browser’s memory.

So the cause is different, how to diagnose it?

It looks like the form works as it is. To fix this problem you need to create a form that works with AJAX without page reloading. You can contact plugin developers for help on this matter.

should I write to “Contact 7”? – this solution is included with the theme and should work with it, am I wrong?

Test how your form works outside the popup with the default theme to identify if it doesn’t work with AJAX because of theme or the plugin configuration.

There is no problem with the form, only with the popup that closes too early

This solution (form in popup) is borrowed from your demo template. There are no rare foreign plugins installed. (except “locoTransalte and smtp – these plugins have no effect on popup functionality)

What do you mean by “the popup that closes too early”? It is not closing at all. When you submit the form it reloads the page. And when the page is loaded the popup is closed by default. There is nothing wrong with the popup.

If you check our demo, the form is submitted with AJAX and the page is not reloaded at all. That is why we ask you to check either your form could be submitted with AJAX or not.

    Kind Regards

I don’t understand what to check. I’m making a new website.

    1 – Ajax is enabled.

2 – Popup closes after sending the form (I don’t know why)

3 – if I open the popup and close it, then I will go to another page and come back, the popup will not reopen until I refresh the page.

    4 – no foreign plugs

What else should I check because I don’t understand?

Take the form from the popup and place it on a new test page without a popup at all. Test if it reloads the page when you submit the form or not. If not, and it is how the form works with the default theme, then it is not a theme problem.

    Kind Regards

Form on the page without popup, reloads the page after sending

    see – reloads

Now switch to the default theme and check if it reloads the page also or it works with AJAX without page reloading.

By default, sending the form does not reload the page
