pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
The theme widgets are not working since the 6.4 update. More precisely, they are not present in translated versions of the site (wpml).
This issue is specific to Woodmart widgets (eg WP widgets work normally).
I tried via the new widget panel. And via the plugin “classic widget”, no impact.1. Could you please email me a link to download version 6.3.3.
2. A tip: when using the new widget menu of WP, I am not proposed -as before- whether the widget shall be present in all languages or not. This could be a reason why.
Kind regards

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
There is a WPML + WooCommerce conflict and it is not related to our theme. The previous version of the theme will not help you in this situation.Regards

pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
For me, it looks like a non-sense to try a default theme. The issue is ONLY on WOODMART WIDGETS. Other widgets (say products, or post categories) work normally. And it’s impossible to check WOODMART WIDGETS on whatever other theme.
Secondly, I just tried with your other theme: Basel, and it’s fine. See attached.
=> While you check the problem -again specific to woodmart- on your side, could you please give a link to download former version 6.3.3 which was working well.
Kind regards

pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
You answered to many other messages, since my last one.
Why is that so?

Artem TemosKeymasterFilter functionality comes with the WooCommerce plugin so if it doesn’t work with WoodMart it shouldn’t work with other themes as well. We already got a lot of similar reports. Please, check how it works with the default theme and WooCommerce filter widget to see if the problem is caused by WoodMart or not.
Thank you in advance.

pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
It works with other themes , the only problem is Woodmart widgets (layered nav) and Woodmart theme, even with Woocommerce standard widgets, as already mentioned.
You have the facts that it works with your Basel theme and not with your Woodmart theme
WAKE UP AND BE PRO !April 18, 2022 at 7:17 pm #369200
pierredemeudonParticipantps: for purpose of record, you factually refused -for 3 days- to give the link to former version (6.3.3 ), which worked better and had not this issue, and thus preferred to let me in the “shit”.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
As we can see, layered nav widgets are currently shown in all languages correctly.
As for the language selector dropdown, you can see it in the sidebar https://gyazo.com/a8aed72f2ea2377117919e203f0f9ebc

pierredemeudonParticipantHello,
1. You should have shown me an image with the widget working in DE … because it was not. Even WPML, who was working on it, acknowledged the problem.
2. The problem disappeared with last update
Kind regards

pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
You should have read what I wrote, and the images attached. I was talking about the DE version (ie german).
Why EN was right, and not DE remains an enigma. And as already partly written, the problem vanished after I 1. re-recorded all products one by one (several hours of work), and 2. your recent update.
According to logs, this was due to the way you were … “using” woocommerce database.
Also, I had the same problem than others, ie a filter widgets not working, product counts per attribute not matching what was diplayed, etc.
For your info, my discussion with WPML about this issue on German
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/widgets-are-absent-in-translated-version/
I know that context is difficult, but trust remains essential.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
We are sorry for the misunderstanding but we still can’t understand if it is related to WoodMart or not. Do you still have it on DE version of your website? Could you please send us a screenshot of how the widget look with the default theme compared to WoodMart?
Kind Regards

pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
For me, you have this on the former post on April 22, 2022 at 2:40 pm
If something is unclear or misleading, could you please explain because I honestly don’t figure out what could be missing
Kind regardsApril 29, 2022 at 10:33 am #371926
Artem TemosKeymasterWe have regenerated lookup tables in WooCommerce and now it works on DE https://gyazo.com/c113e47d189b47747d039753105c073c
Try to go to WooCommerce -> Status -> Tools and click on “Regenerate the product attributes lookup table”. It should fix the problem.
Kind Regards
April 29, 2022 at 6:48 pm #372073
pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
This is something that I had tried, which did not work at that time. The process did not even start.
After, I even re-recorded all products, one by one. And the DE translations. Several hours of work, for no result at that time.
As I wrote you (April 26, 2022 at 5:55 pm) , it’s anyway OK since your last update.
That said, what is weird is that, as you can see, the problem was only with Woodmart, and not with your Basel theme. What suggests that there is something specific to Woodmart. All the more that I am not only one that faced this issues (of tables), product count per attribute, etc.
Also, since the update to 6.4, I have database errors. On my live stage, and on staging, which I reset to live at the moment of woodmart 6.4.1.
I now plan to go back to live when it was 6.4., I still have it.
I see on logs when you logged in the site.
Below the debug log after your visit.

pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
On this one, as the problem remains
“Regenerate the product attributes lookup table” works and restores widgets, but each time I do a translation in DE of an existing product, the widgets disappear again in the DE version.
=> after each translation, I must regenerate. Not normal.I just tried to do the same with your Basel theme. And the behavior is different. If I translate in DE, the widgets remain as they are, there is no impact
=> Clearly, there is a specific issue with Woodmart
Kind regards
May 1, 2022 at 1:14 pm #372279
pierredemeudonParticipantPS: indeed, the “Regenerate the product attributes lookup table” just works for a few minutes. After, the widgets vanish again. On woodmart.
Let me know if you’d like more infoMay 1, 2022 at 5:10 pm #372309
pierredemeudonParticipantPS: I just tried with woodmart 6.3.3, on staging, it works normally. Meaning that issue is on 6.4.
That said, the 6.3.3. version that you sent me is corrupted, according to anti-virus scan. I would appreciate a clean one
versionMay 2, 2022 at 10:54 am #372426
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please upload two versions of the theme to one website and send us admin and FTP access so we can see the problem?
Just ignore the notice about the virus, it is just because of old version of the library used in 6.3.3 version. We have fixed this in our 6.4 update but it is harmless for your website.
Kind Regards

pierredemeudonParticipantHello,
Thank you for the notice 🙂
I installed 2 versions of Woodmart, 6.3.3 and 6.4.2.
6.3 is OK with widgets, not 6.4 as mentioned.
The credentials below
Kind regardsMay 2, 2022 at 5:41 pm #372552
Artem TemosKeymasterWhen we switched to 6.4.2 version we still able to see all the filter widgets https://monosnap.com/file/t2iLsRbutZVe9Bht7nV2YyRqCjA1la

pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
Good news!
I tried many things: widget per language, generate product attributes lookup table for each language, re-save all products and all translations 1 by 1.
How did you do?
Kind regardsMay 4, 2022 at 9:30 am #372961
Artem TemosKeymasterWe didn’t touch anything on your website. In most cases, product attribute lookup table regeneration helps to fix this problem.
May 13, 2022 at 8:24 am #375450
pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
This is it today
Layered disappeared again.
Product counts are wrong.
What happened? An update of woocommerce.
As before, the problem vanishes with another theme
There is a problem, a mismatch

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Try to regenerate the attribute lookup table again and see how it works.

May 13, 2022 at 9:32 am #375482
pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
It’s under way. Pending. Regeneration sometimes worked, sometimes failed.
We started this topic 1 month ago.
As before, if I switch to Basel, no problem, it’s perfect. Without any regeneration. You can certainly replicate this on the staging, since it’s older version. Ie update woo, see the pb, switch to Basel, and see it’s OK.
Clearly, there is a mismatch between Woodmart, Woocommerce and WPML. Linked with Woocommerce databases. It’s not normal to re-set db at each update, even if the update does not impact db
Kind regardsMay 13, 2022 at 9:38 am #375483
Artem TemosKeymasterIt has nothing to do with WoodMart. You can switch to any theme on this website including Basel and see the same. This issue is reported by a lot of WooCommerce users no matter which theme they are using. You can read it on official WooCommerce github https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/32065
May 13, 2022 at 9:51 am #375489
pierredemeudonParticipantHi,
You do not explain why it’s OK with Basel WITHOUT ANY REGENERATION.
And why it’s NOT OK WITH WOODMART.
As a dummie, it makes sense that filters don’t work when the tables / bd are modified. I don’t know if your link refers to an issue after such a change, or not.=> Can you explain why filters & product counts per attribute both work perfect with Basel and not with Woodmart, after a woocommerce update, and without attribute regeneration?
Kind regards
