Image size on Products (grid or carousel) element

Hi
We want the image of the product, on the Products (grid or carousel) element, to be smaller but we already tried different sizes and even the custom option of the product design tab but nothing seems to work.
How can we show a smaller image of the pruduct?

Basically the product images and categories images are controlled by woocommerce and our theme doesn’t influence this.
Woocommerce provides settings for images that you can find under Appearance >> Customise >> WooCommerce >> Product Images.

Couldn’t resolve even changing the Woocommerce settings for images so we made it in a other away.
