Unable to change icons in the categories menu within the header menu

I am unable to change icons in the categories menu within the header menu, i somehow did it but i cannot see how to do it again, I have tried adjusting the icon images within the product categories menu, this is having an effect on other parts of the webste but not in this main menu in the home page

These icons are defined via your “Categories” of the products so to be able to change them you should navigate to Dashboard -> Products -> Categories and set any image for the “Image for header menu” field.

Hi Luke I do not think its working.
For example , If I got to one of my categories, and I look at “Flash Memory & SSD” the icon that is already there doesnt actually match the menu, I think it somehow has become unlinked? Please see the images

I have done experimentation , it looks like the links are all jumbled up.
so I changed the icon from Flash Memory, but it instead changed the icon for “Smoking Sundries” in the menu

Please, be sure that your page is not cached, if it is then clear the cache and check again. If it didn’t help you, please provide your site admin access to the private area so I can check it on your side and also find a better solution for that.

Somehow your categories have incorrect names therefore images change in different categories. In order to get rid of that, you should re-create the product categories menu via Appearance -> Menus.
