Imagify Webp images not working on my site
-
Hi,
I could figure out on the changelog, that the Imagify Plugin is now compatible, but the webp format isn’t being used on my site.
Why?
Am I missing something here?

Hello,
In the settings of the “Imagify” plugin, you need to set the “picture” HTML tag.

Hello,
Please select the format in Optimization -> WEBP FORMAT you need to choose “Use tags” and it should work https://prnt.sc/qThlDGZOGm5z

Perfect.
It works now.
I’ve noticed, that if the webp file is larger than the source file the smallest file will be displayed.
That’s great. 🙂
Is there a way to prevent creating a webp file when the source file will be smaller?

Hello,
Sorry, but I cannot tell you exactly because it’s a third-party plugin that is not related to the theme. Will be better if you contact their support.
I’d be happy to assist if you have any other questions or concerns.
Kind Regards
