[email protected]ParticipantHello,
I would like for my shop filter (filter by category) to stop deleting all the other filters attributes selected by the user such as colours, size when user selects a different sub category from the main category. Basically what the shop page is doing right now, is that everytime a user selects a different subcategory or category in the filter by product category widget, all the other filter attribute that I have added such as the colour or the price or the size are also deleted. What I would like to do is for example, if an user is in the shop page and selects main category “FASHION” from the category product filter and then chooses the attribute “RED” and then the user decides that he wants to click on the subcategory “WOMEN (fashion –> women)” then all the filters attributes selected (red) should not be removed and should be filtering the subcategory. HOWEVER, if the users is in the category “FASHION” and then chooses the filter attribute “RED” and then the user decides that he wants to click on another MAIN category such as “Music” then all the attributes selected (red) should be removed.

[email protected]ParticipantFor example, here are videos from my live website. And as you can see when a filter product by price and changes sub-category (fashion –> Women) the filter price resets. I would like that filter to stay active and not reset. The only time the price filter should reset is when the user changes main category (ex: fashion –> beauty and health). Please see attached videos

[email protected]ParticipantIf it’s not possible to do what I am asking, then I would just like for the “filter by product category” to stop resetting all the other filters even after a customer selects another category whether it’s a main or subcategory. Thanks.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please make the full backup of your site and check the issue on the Storefront theme with the default Woocommerce filters to detect if our theme causes the problem. Storefront is a free theme developed by WooСommerce.
WoodMart filters are based on the default Storefront functionality and customized a bit visually.
Best Regards

[email protected]ParticipantHello,

[email protected]ParticipantActually, I use elementor for my website and I see that I cannot use both elementor and wpbakery. Is there a way to create that filter form via elementor?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
WoodMart works with either the WP Bakery builder or the Elementor builder at once, but not with both at the same time. The demo content would be based on the chosen builder. It is not possible to switch from one builder to another after setting everything up.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

[email protected]ParticipantI know that but the link you sent me: “https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/how-to-create-filters-form/” is for WPBAKERY and not elementor. Do you have one for elementor?
Thanks
