unable to upload category thumbnail (Aizaz or Luke only pls)

    Hello, for some reason I am unable to upload thumbnails for only select categories. Clicking the ‘Upload/Add Image’ button does nothing.

    There is also a message regarding a ‘critical error’ on the theme portion of category management.

    I have tried deleting and recreating the categories, no luck.

    I have tried everything from disabling and switching to default theme, and disabling all non vital plugins. No luck.

    Please advise, feel free to disable whatever plugins you need to, the site is not live yet.

    The thing is that you are using a custom layout, therefore you should define the “Page title” element in your product archive layout.

    So, this issue existed before I created this custom layout.

    Even after your changes I cannot upload categories thumbnail in Products>Categories.

    I really dont think this issue is related to the page title, would it be possible to change it back to how it was before please?

    Yes, the issue persists when switching to default theme and disabling all non vital plugins.

    Hello,

    It means that this issue is not related to our theme because it persists on the default theme as well. I suggest you contact with WooCommerce support team for further solutions.

    Sorry, I mis spoke:

    In the logs I see:

    > #1 /home2/tilteddo/public_html/wp-content/themes/woodmart/inc/integrations/woocommerce/template-tags.php(1010): esc_url(Array)

    This tells me that the very likely issue being that the Woodmart theme is causing the error.

    I switched to default Twenty Twenty theme and the problem went away, I was able to visit the test link succesfully without seeing the critical error on the website.

    I then switched back to WoodMart and disabled all of the plugins except for the ones that you advised.

    I have already deleted and manually recreated the parent categories, and I am really hoping to avoid doing that again as I already assigned numerous products to those categories.

    Ok, in this case, please confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, switching to the parent or default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back.
