wildguitarsParticipantHi guys, please download the following video at your earliest convenience:
https://we.tl/t-96CnLN8G8M
(I apologize for the length)The bottom line:
1. The images I upload to our media are always at least 2000px in width
2. The main image used for the product page is 577x577px (I don’t know how to control this)
3. The website stretches this image to 607x607px, and therefore it appears pixelated/low qualityExample page: https://www.wildguitars.co.il/product/music-man-f90077/
I’d appreciate your help with this.
Thanks!

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please insert the site admin access into the Private content below the message area. We will take a closer look at the case.
Please, confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back, however, the site would be without plugins for 15-20 min. You would better make the full backup of your site.
Best Regards

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise, thank you for the prompt reply.
I have provided the admin details to our staging website in the private content. You can feel free to enable/disable anything you’d like, as this is not a live website.Best regards,

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The Woocommerce cuts or compress the images as per the settings described in this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/image-size-and-content-alignment-in-a-product-grid/
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise, thank you for pointing me in this direction.
I navigated to Appearance – > Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product Image and “Main Image Width” is set to 1200. But my developer showed in his screenshot that the size is 577×577 pixels. Any ideas?

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
WordPress generates the image sizes for the grid depending on how many items in the row you have.
Do you have any problem with the images?
Best Regards

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise, the issue is not with the grid, rather with the single product page. Allow me to echo the important information from my original message:
1. The images I upload to our media are always at least 2000px in width
2. The main image used for the product page is 577x577px (I don’t know how to control this)
3. The website stretches this image to 607x607px, and therefore it appears pixelated/low qualityI have marked the main issue in bold.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please try to upload image size 10% or 20 % more than the container width and height.
Provide the product page URL with such an image.

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise, we will remove the custom code in your first screenshot and check. But the second screenshot doesn’t seem to be of custom code, can you please clarify what else we should remove?
October 21, 2022 at 2:04 am #415432
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
The second screen shows the size of the image influenced by custom code.

wildguitarsParticipantHi Elise, can you please let me know where this code is located? Our developer is having some trouble finding it.
