henalon123ParticipantHi there, We are having a pricing issues with Google Merchant Center, on variable product pages google crawl thinks the lowest variation price is the price of all the other variations in the same product page, We talked with google expert now about this issue and they told us 2 thinks needs to be solved:
1. when i check specific variations links in Google Rich Results tool in Product snippets the site is only showing “Price” structured data, google told me that it needs to be regular price & sale price in structured data as well, so for example this product variation : (link in hidden)
We did a test on it in rich results here : (link in hidden)
and if you go to Product snippets you will see only 210USD, but the regular price of this variation is 320USD so this fix needs to be applied to all the products structured data on my site.2. in variable product pages like this : (link in hidden)
you can see after the product title a price range between $160.00 – $210.00, google expert told me this is not allowed so I need to remove this option so google crawl can detect the specific variation regular & sale prices, because right now google crawl thinks the lowest price ($160) is the price of the specific variation which is not true, it supposed to be $210 as of the first issue i given example variation : (see first example link)So I dont know if the first problem related to you or not but if you can refer us to someone who can solve the first problem it would be great.
And the second problem related to you, I need you to give me a custom code that removes the visibility of the price range of variable product pages, Only in the single product page, on the shop page we can leave it as it is.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
Regards

henalon123ParticipantIt is problematic because it is a live website, we have another website with your theme and on the other website i dont see this issue with GMC, so we want to exclude all options but move the theme to default theme will harm our business, we attached a link of our other website with Woodmart.

henalon123ParticipantOk we think we found the solution, on the problematic site if you choose a specific variation it will show the specific variation price at the bottom (we attached screenshot for all) and the price range will remain the same.
but on our other site with Woodmart, if I click on a variation it will replace the price range with the specific variation price.
How i can change this to be the same as my other site.October 3, 2022 at 9:08 am #409848
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
You can control this option in Theme Settings -> Single product -> “Remove duplicate price for variable product”.
Kind Regards

henalon123ParticipantOk google expert now called us and explained it more clearly, on variable products pages (I attached a link of specific variation for example), the price range is visible and it needs to be completely removed/hidden, we enabled the “Remove duplicate price for variable product”, but it didnt do the trick because google crawl detects the first price it see on the product page and thinks its the variation price which is not true, so if you can give me a custom code to disable/hide the price range on single product pages would be great.
Just to make sure, I need to hide only the price range (in this example its $160-$210), but when I select a variation it still needs to show the variation price at the same place.
We tried the “Hide “to” price” but it shows the lowest variation price of each variable product pages.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
There is no option in our theme to hide the range
$100-$200
completely. In this case, you need to customize the WooCommerce plugin. But it is not an issue of our theme.Kind Regards
