Slider – differece between Featured Image and Background Image

    Hello,

    In your Woodmart Slider settings, we can set the slider image as either a “Featured image” on the right hand side, or a “Background image” in the slider settings. Is there a difference between the two options from a performance perspective, or is it the same?

    Hello,

    Both options work in the same way. Featured image is an old way to set slide background that is no longer used. But we can’t remove this method because it will break sliders on our customers’ websites after an update.
