Theme Updates?

    I just read on the forum here, that Woodmart is up to V 1.10.

    How come we don’t get “notified” of that, by Themeforest?

    In other themes, you can set the Theme to “auto update” when there is a new version.

    It seems that unless I am on Themeforest, I won’t know of any updates?

    I didn’t even get an email from them, saying there was an update!

    Also, where do we go to update the theme? I don’t see that either.

    Just read your documentation about using the Easy Theme and Plugin Updater.

    I downloaded that but it is not tested with the current version of WP.

    I tried it anyway, and got this error:

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme installation failed.

    So….what do I do now?

    Hi,

    We don’t know why you didn’t get the notification email from Envato about 1.10 update.
    Seems that you are uploading a wrong zip file. Read more information about this error here https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821510-Theme-is-missing-the-style-css-stylesheet-error

    Ahh…what a dumbass I am! You are right, I uploaded the whole zip file. I will try again tomorrow, when I can think straight!

    PS – I just bought your theme again, for a different website (because I liked it so much) and that was when I downloaded V1.10. I didn’t get an email “update” from Themeforest, for the site running V1.9, and I DO get updates on all the other themes I have bought from them.

    We are glad that you like our theme.

    In our WoodMart 2.0 we will add an auto updates function that will prevent you from any difficulties with updates.
