email forms – join our mailing list is problematic

i enter the join our mail list and it does not send an email confirmation..
I have installed mailmonkey and tested same.
i have another smtp test which worked fine.. email received..!
according to mailchimp ‘If the form shows a success message and there are no error messages in the debug log then it means that the plugin successfully sent the sign-up attempt to Mailchimp. From there, it is up to Mailchimp to send & deliver the confirmation email.’ the log shows success. and mailchimp stored the email addresses .
summary: i did not receive the actual email confirmation – see snapshot below of the confirmation..

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?

before doing that .. do i have to prebuild a mailchimp form that would be emailed to a newly registered user or is that email form on the woodmart/woocommerce side. if it is on the woodmart/woocommerce side which form is it?

Mailchimp newsletter works independently on Woocommerce and WoodMart themes. The send mails depend on configurations. We do not have instructions on how to configure it, you would better contact the plugin support.

i provided a snapshot of what should be a simple (walk through the park) update.. i am trying to find where do I prepare a basic form which will be loaded under ‘SELECT FORM’ and then sent to the subscriber (email address) when they click on signup.. I confirm that mailchimp is receiving the respective email .. however, i need the form to reach the mailing list subscriber . THere is a “Newsletter form’ from the pulldown (see snapshot), however, i do not know where to find this .
