I have a problem with the side menu. In the case of a few categories, in fact, the menu is aligned at the top and cannot be clicked. Can it be centered on the selected item?
also because in this way it is not clickable because when I move the mouse from the item the curtain disappears

If you want to show the dropdown near the menu item, you should set the Design for the menu item as Default via Appearance -> Menus (more detail in the below screenshot).
