automatically generate header menu based on existing categories ?

Hi,
I just imported/migrated a site with 10k product alone with 1k categories
manually one by one adding such categories menu to the header is obviously unrealistic
is there anyway to automatically form a menu on header based on existing categories ?

Please navigate to Appearance -> Menus and try to add all categories by clicking on the “Select all” button and adding them to the menu.

thanks for the idea, but sadly it doesn’t work
it does not retain the parentness of categories , all cat will be listed as same level , then again , I will have to drag & drop to adjust thousand of categories , that’s something I try to avoid …

In this case, better to show your categories in the Shop’s sidebar, please navigate to Appearance -> Widgets -> define the “Product Categories” element in the “Sho page Widget area” widget.
