Translation Frequently Bought Together

Hi! We just started to use frequently bought together on our shop but can’t find where to translate some things like the button and title Frequently Bought Together to Dutch. Normally it would be in Loco Translate -> Woodmart/Woodmart Child. But we can’t find it there. Can you please help?

Hi Elise,
Synchronization in de Woodmart Core theme does work. But if we do the synchronization in the Woodmart Child theme all translations are removed. How can we make sure that the translations won’t disappear in every update? Normally when we do a translation in Core theme the translation disappears after an update so therefore we do translations in the child theme. But when I click on synchronize all strings are removed.

Hello,
You need to create the translation for the parent theme only.
The strings related to the theme should be translated in the theme files.
The stings related to plugins should be translated in Loco > Plugins > Find the plugin > create the translation.
