Color swatch issue on single product page

    Hi,

    Selecting a color swatch does not update the variation image of the product when it is selected.
    Unless the second swatch for the size is also selected, the change will not take place.
    Is there a way I can have the variation image change just by selecting only the color swatches?

    Hello,

    The thing is, according to the default working of the Variable Product under the WooCommerce, if you have defined two Attributes for a Product and using them as Variants then to make the Product add to cart both of them needs to be selected, even if any of the Variant value of an Attribute is separately defined too. So, this is how it works for the Variable Products.

    You can once check your concern with the default WordPress Theme activated too to confirm it more and if you find any difference then mention us so that we can further look into this.

    Hi,

    Yes, I understand and this is the default behavior. However, I wanted to check with you if there can be any way I can differentiate the color attribute for the variation in which the product image gets updated with the variation image without selecting the other attribute, in this case, the size. By default, when you add the product to cart without the other variation, you will receive a warning message informing you to add the other variation.

    Hello,

    As you know, the Theme doesn’t influence it much yet. The default WooCommerce way is followed in this regard.

    The only alternative way as we can understand from this is to create a Product with only Color Variants, in this way the Image will change when the Color Variant is selected. This is the best possible right now.

    Other than that, It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.
