How can I make my Blogposts searchable?
-
Hi there,
how can I make Blogposts searchable? In a way I do it with the Products Search Bar?
I would like to enable a visitor to search for Posts on my Blog. Currently it is only possible to display the posts.

Hello,
Under the Dashboard > Theme Settings > General > Search > there is an option available Display results from blog > once you have enabled it > and then you search for Blogs > you might be able to see the Blog in Search result: https://snipboard.io/CIO0DP.jpg
But right now as we have confirmed it is working in Live Search results only.
Best Regards
Hi there, thanks.. !
I am looking for a way to search for Blogposts independently: only Blog Post shall be displayed (no products) and the search bar shall be integrated on the Blog page. Above the Blog posts. Is there an option for that?
Is there something like a code for the seach Bar I can use ?
Best regards, Mario
Hello,
1- Sorry to say but right now there is no option in Theme Settings available for that. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.
2- The Blog page by default comes WordPress end and as you know it isn’t editable with the page builder plugins like Elementor or WPBakery. The Theme itself just has the options under the Theme Settings > Blog, related to the styling of the Blog page. So, there isn’t an option available right now to add Search Bar specifically on the Blog page. Hope you can understand the limitations in this regard.
Best Regards
Hello Aizaz, thanks for getting back. I think this would be very useful. Not just for me, but for every user of the Woodmart theme. Because the Blog is important to drive traffic and the users visiting the Blog page are intersted in knowing about the Content of the Blog.
Best Regards, Mario
Hello,
Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, I am forwarding this to our development department for consideration to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may cause theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.
Let us know if you need any further assistance in this regard. We are always there for your help !
Have a wonderful day.
