    Hello, I have a strange issue regarding brand and “filter by brand” feature. Although all products in our store have brand attribute correctly set up, filter by brand doesn’t work for most products. I noticed that the single product is correctly “linked” to its brand only when I manually update the product. Can you please help me understand what’s wrong?

    Hello,

    Sorry to hear about the inconvenience but can you please once make sure your WoodMart theme and Core plugin is updated to the latest version and then check back the issue again on your Site. The latest version of the Theme running is 7.1.3 and the Core version running is 1.0.36. If it is not updated then you can update the Theme and Core following the Documentation Guide: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/

    If the issue still persists after updating the Theme and Core plugin, then could you please once try deactivating all the third party Plugins on your Site, remaining the Theme required ones activated. If the issue gets resolved, then reactivate them one by one to see which Plugin is causing the issue. If this doesn’t work for you then once also, try to activate the Parent Theme on your Site if you are using Child Theme on your Site.

    If somehow the issue still persists, then please take complete Backup of your Site first, then provide us the WP-ADMIN Login details of your Site in the Private Content field along with the permission to completely debug your Site which includes deactivating all the third party Plugins and removal of on-Site Customization changes too, so that we can thoroughly check this issue on your Site and assist you accordingly.

    Hello, I already tried to deactivate plugins but the issue wasn’t resolved. I also update theme already.

    I will add more info about this: I activated the option about creating archives for brands, and when I click on a brand I correctly see all products of that brand. The issue is only on filter widget. Should I provide admin info?

    Yes, you will need to provide the WP-ADMIN Login details so that we can check the mentioned issue on your Site and assist you accordingly because without actually seeing the issue on your Site we wouldn’t be able to suggest much. Hope you can understand !

    Hello,

    For the Brand Filter widget added under the Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Shop page Widget Area > you haven’t selected the All Categories under the Show on category option in that widget, which we have selected now: https://snipboard.io/JUlcG3.jpg

    Please check back your Site after completely clearing the browser and server cache.

    Additionally, we have noticed that the PHP version on your Site isn’t set to the standard one which is 7.4. So, please ask your Hosting Provider to set it to 7.4 to avoid any sort of issues that can occur with the outdated version usage of the PHP.

    Wow thank you, I checked this widget yesterday but I didn’t notice. Sorry. About PHP version, I know… we are forced to keep this version for now so we won’t break our other site on same domain. It will be updated as soon as the new site goes live. Thanks again for your help.
