Blog post sidebar widget area missing after upgrade to 2.0
-
After upgrading to Woodmart 2.0 the pages footers disappeared and the contents of one of the footer columns was moved to the blog post sidebar.
After recreating the contents of one footer column the others columns and the whole footer reappeared.
However, there is no option to modify the blog post sidebar, which currently displays the contents of on the of the previous footer columns before theme upgrade.
There is no blog sidebar widget area in the Appearance – Widget section:
- Main Widget Area
- Shop page Widget Area
- Shop filters
- Single product page Widget Area
- My Account pages sidebar
- Widget Area in the header
- Area after the mobile menu
- Footer Column 1
- Footer Column 2
- Footer Column 3
See the example blog post url in the Private Content area.
Hi,
If you activate and deactivate our theme in Appearance -> Themes, widgets may be lost their positions in Appearance -> Widgets. It is a WordPress bug and we are not able to fix it in our theme scope.
Regards
How can we modify the blog post sidebar contents?
Blog sidebar is called Main Widget Area
. It is used for all default pages except the shop page.
Ah, finally, thank you! We were confused by the fact that all the Shop filters widgets were moved to the Main Widget area after upgrade.
