Can't disable categories menu in header

Hello,

I suspect that you have enabled Header Builder. If so, you are right, that way would not work for you. Please navigate Header Builder > choose the proper one > edit and remove Categories menu there as shown here: http://prntscr.com/it96zr and http://prntscr.com/it9799
