categories widgets doesn’t work anymore

    Good morning,

    We have always had a widget with categories on the left side of the menu on the shop page. However since a few days it is no longer visible. For now we have just used another widget with product categories.

    Previously, you only saw the subs within a category in the menu, and if you then grabbed another category within the subs there, the menu adjusted itself. It no longer does that. Now we have a product category widget but there you see all product categories, even if you are within a product cateogry.

    In the private section you will find a code which we used. Can you please check how it is possible that this one does not work anymore?

    What you see now is the default category widget with all the product groups.

    First we had a product category widget for this (we think the code I sent along in the first post) where – when you were on 1 main product cateogry – you only saw the sub-categories. Now you continuously see all categories.

    Hopefully you understand our problem.

    Hello,

    This is the way Wooommerce works, WoodMart theme doesn’t influence it. You can check with the Storefront theme and you will see the same.

    Ok,

    But the Widget with the code attached worked perfect for us.
    What is function of the code, because it was a standard widget in your theme?
    And it worked perefect for us, but now it’s not showing up anymore?
