I want to use the button element but I do not want it to be clickable like an actual button, I just want to be able to format the text and colour of the button.
How do I make the button so it’s not clickable when hovered over ?
Open your WordPress website in the Elementor editor.
Drag and drop the Button widget to the desired location on your page.

I understand totally how to add a button to the website using Elementor. That was not my question, I asked how to prevent the button from being clickable, even if I do not add a link, when hovering over the button it still shows as clickable. I want to prevent this, I just want the button to act as if it has no link and cannot be clicked on hover.
Enter a single hash sign (#) in the URL field. This will create a link that doesn’t navigate anywhere.
By setting the link to a single hash sign, the button will still have the appearance of a link, but it won’t have any functionality or be clickable when hovered over.
