    I changed the site width using the Custom option and it doesn’t seem to be working. However when I select the Boxed (with hidden overflow) option, it does work but its not the desired width i’m looking for.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    In this case, is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area so I can have a look at the settings on your website, please? And can I check that option on your website?

    Kind Regards

    Hi Luke, I’ve given you the details to log in below. Please note that I have a few other issues that need resolving.

    Issue 1: Site Width is not working properly.

    Issue 2: WooCommerce Shop Page – When I assign a page to be the WooCommerce Shop Page (Attached Photo) for example http://www.website.com/shop/ Visiting this page should take me to the URL but instead i’m being redirected to http://www.website.com/unrelatedpage

    At first I thought this would be a plugin conflict. However after disabling all plugins on the site, the issue was not resolved. I had to disable the Woodmart Theme before the issue was resolved.

    Issue 2.1: WooCommerce Shop Page – I believe this issue is related to Issue 2. I’m trying to create this product URL structure.

    http://www.website.com/shop/product-category/product

    This URL works fine, however when I go to http://www.website.com/shop/product-category I’m given a 404 Error.

    Issue 3: Styling Issue – After updating the WoodMart Theme and Core, my header menus are misaligned and not looking like I had before. I’ve attached a Before and After update photo. I hope you can help me rectify this too.

    Thank you so much!

    Hello,

    1. Could you please disable the server cache? so then we can check it properly.

    2. On the staging site, I have defined the Shop page and it works well, here is a screenshot: https://take.ms/cw9vF

    Read the below documentation on how to customize permalinks:

    https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/customize-permalinks/

    3. The below code will help you remove that gap:

    .whb-general-header .wd-dropdown {
        margin-top: 10px;
    }

    Paste it into the “Global Custom CSS” area in Theme Settings -> Custom CSS.

    As for the HTML Block, you need to edit it and add to the section a negative margin (-30px): https://take.ms/wedaf

    Then clear the cache and recheck the issue.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Luke,

    Thanks for the response.

    1. I’ve disabled the Server Cache, so it will not be caching anymore.
    2. The shop is not the page in question. The redirect happening is stated in the private content.
    3. I’ve read the documentation and everything has been set up correctly, but I believe the theme is causing some issues with this.

    Thank you

    Hello,

    1. Right now the value from Theme Settings is applied: https://prnt.sc/2C1n7NU5IOEe , https://take.ms/0MewE , but you will not see the differents in appearance because you have set a specific width for each Elementor section: https://take.ms/V6Zbm , https://take.ms/M5Zun .

    You need to clear that width value in each section, than the width from Theme Settings started to work.

    2. As for the redirect, in the child theme you have some third-party code that affect it, after enabling parent theme, the issue disappeared: https://take.ms/aBokT

    Kind Regards

    Dear Luke,

    Thank you for helping with issue 1.

    Regarding the third party code, could you give me more information? Or is it possible to get some help to remove this code? I cannot use the parent theme as there are some custom work that was done for the checkout page.

    Also at the same time after enabling the parent theme, the urls for website.com/collections/product-category still gives a 404 code. How do i fix this?

    Thank you

    Hello,

    Sorry, but fixing the code that was provided by third-party developers is not included in our support, unfortunately.

    As for the permalinks, you have the wrong structure, there should not be the “product_cat”: https://take.ms/qHi42 , when we checked on the default theme, there is the same issue with 404: https://take.ms/YVcZv . You need to adjust it here: https://take.ms/Uic7I

    Kind Regards
