Categories slider subcategories are duplicated

    Hi
    I use the categories slider to show subcategories in archive page and if there are less than 6 subcategories, it clones the existing categories so it will be total of 6.
    For example, if there are only 2 subcategories it shows the same categories 3 times.
    I think it should be fixed becuase I can’t require each category to have a minimum of 6 subcategories, it doesn’t make sense.

    please also check on archive pages why the infinite loading button is taking so much time to load more products?
    I enabled some performance settings in the theme settings, including images lazy load, I also emabled WP Rocket, I changed the number of products per page to the minimum but it doesn’t seem to affect the loading time.
    it always take the same amount of time to load the products, regardless of the amount of products it should be loading.
    I also don’t understand why if lazy loading is enabled it doesn’t affect the page loading time, as it only need to load the product names and images are only loaded after…
    Please advise

    Hello,

    1. You need to edit the “Product categories” element and disable the “loop” functionality, so then the categories will not be cloned.

    Also, the infinite loading could be long due to the third-party plugins so please disable all plugins except these ones:

    WPBakery Page Builder or Elementor
    Woodmart Core
    WooCommerce

    If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

    Yes I already found the “loop” settings and it fixed it . thanks.

    I also found another issue
    When a products is added both to checlist and compare it shows 2 “check” icons.
    It’s confusing.
    I think it’s better to show a full heart instead.
    compare icon can also be used as “scales” icon and then we can also use an outline and full version.
    Maybe you should allow choosing the icons and then we can set it in the theme settings and even allow uploading our own icons.
    I searched in the theme icon sets and couldn’t find a full heart.
    So now I have to checks icons next to each other 🙂
