product sorting not working

I try to sort products for date on archive page, or with Elementor with the element “products (grid or carousel)”, but the order still the same (and it’s not by date).
if I deactivate all the plugins the problem remains
if the “store front” theme is active, the order of the products is correct

Please confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent/default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable it all back. You would better make the full backup of your site.

I see that you have enabled sorting from the most recent products: https://take.ms/Y8yhM , and when we enable the parent theme, it works the same as on the default theme, here are screenshots:

So seems that you have some third-party code in the child theme that affects the sorting.
