verdi-dance.grParticipantGreetings!
We purchased your theme a few weeks ago and used it to update our eshop. Everything works great, but we are having problems with the speed, especially in the back end. It loads very slowly, even after we added wp rocket to alleviate the traffic from the front end.
Could you please take a look and help us debug the issue? Log files are not helping since they dont show any errors that would help us pinpoint the problem and we tried different php versions with not any visible difference.
Could you please take a look at the shop as soon as possible and help us find the problem? Because as it is loading now, the eshop is unmanageable and it is a working eshop!
Looking forward to your reply and thank you in advance

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Please confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent/default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable it all back.
Kind Regards.

verdi-dance.grParticipantThank you for the quick reply.
Yes you can go ahead and deactivate plugins for debugging purposes. We understand that this is needed to test things, but as I said, please keep in mind that this is a working eshop so be as quick as possible and after you are done, please re-enable the plugins you have deactivated and let us know asap to check it.We will be looking forward to your findings!

verdi-dance.grParticipantYou mean the menu that is shown on the left of the main Logo, with the button named eShop? It’s name is “Verdi Menu 23 Left”

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
After deactivating all third-party plugins except those required for our theme:
WoodMart core
WooCommerce
Elementor/WPBakery page builderThe page loading started to be around 2s, which is a good result without a cache plugin.
https://monosnap.com/file/N0lgm8Lfz9uMW5vNuCtyAyAHHSqMX8
So the issue is in the third-party plugins that affect the site speed.
Kind Regards

verdi-dance.grParticipantWell of course if I disable everything, it loads faster…. That much we knew on our own.
We wanted you to help me find what is causing the problem, because it is obviously a conflict with your theme since we didn’t have this EXTREME slow loading with our previous theme.
That being said, we don’t know if you did any changes or not, but the back end seems to be loading faster now with the plugins enabled. So we will see how it goes and get back to you if the problem reappears.

verdi-dance.grParticipantCould you at least help us with Loco Translate being broken after last update? It just doesnt show the theme translations any more.
September 15, 2023 at 2:32 pm #496326
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Most likely, you have defined the wrong path for the translation so after the update it could be lost. I suggest you read our article about Loco Translate: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/translate-woodmart-theme-with-loco-translate/
Kind Regards

verdi-dance.grParticipantWe had set it on custom folder from the start. So your link doesnt apply here. It was and still is on custom folder, but still it stopped working suddenly!

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
In this case, create a new translation via this (https://prnt.sc/KNbN_R9P05Fg) path. This is the default WordPress folder where all translations that exist by default are stored.
Kind Regards
