Problem with filter, please help

    HI, so we have a problem, with the woodmart filter

    Problem 1.

    if you will See on website, we have three attributes for filter,

    fabric, craft, color.

    So wehenever we select one option from Filter “fabric” , the other options from same filter are not visible, till i uncheck the seleted filter, this canbe solber by setting OR in the widget area.

    but the next problem here is for example, i select a filter from CRAFT : “Dabu” then in other filter, only the filter relevent to Selected Dabu should be visible, rest should be invisible, and vice versa if select the filter of FABRIC the same should happen in other filters.
    but this is not happening

    Problem 2.

    in the taneria website “https://www.taneira.com/shop/sarees-for-women?sort=10” if you will see there the filter section is stable, and the section showing product is scrolling, in our website it is not like that we want to make like this

    If you select the query type OR then you will see all the values after select once.

    I think you have not read our query properly, we have already told what happens after selection of OR
    Please understand the issue.

    Hi,

    You have simply put OR in filters. This doesn’t solve our problem Sir. If it would be that easy, we wouldn’t have come up with the problem. I request you to watch the video properly or connect with us via zoom call so that we can make you understand it better.

    I’m stating the problem here once again:

    Whenever a user selects a filter, let’s say I select Craft=Dabu, then only those fabric should be visible that comes under Dabu.

    —–RESULT—-
    Crafts = All Crafts should be visible, Dabu should be selected and user can select other crafts as well.
    Fabrics = Liva Cotton, Cotton Linen, Liva Art Silk Slub, Liva Art Silk Maheshwari

    Similarly, if I select Fabric = Liva Cotton, then only those craft should be visible that comes under Liva Cotton.

    —–RESULT—-
    Crafts = Dabu, Bagru and Shahi Dabu
    Fabrics = All Fabrics should be visible, Liva Cotton should be selected and user can select other fabrics as well.

    In case of OR: All the crafts and All the fabrics are visible. That is logically wrong.

    In case of AND: Only single craft is being shown when selected. Rest crafts are not visible. So, no multiple selection in that case.

    I still request you to connect with us via zoom call so that we can make you understand it better and solve this as soon as possible.

    Hello,

    Sorry, this is not possible. There is no such functionality in WooCommerce by default. You have to find and use any 3rd party plugin or require customization.

    Hello,

    If there’s no such functionality, can you incorporate it in your next update? Because it’s hampering user experience. Our users are dropping because of this. We know that Woodmart is the best theme but if it lacks this functionality it would be tough for us. Every ecommerce has this functionality that we are asking for.

    Let us know if you can do anything.

    So, if the Development Department finds it fits with the Theme environment then surely they will look through it.
