    Hello –

When we first created our website, you gave us a code snippet, that we have added to our child theme, to get rid of the “Additional Info” tab, that shows up on product pages.

That code IS working on existing products, but when I created 8 new listings this week, that additional info tab is showing again, on all of them!

Shouldn’t the code prevent this from happening to ALL product listings?

I will attach a screenshot below, to show you what I am talking about.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

What kind of code do you have there? Did you activate the child theme? Could you please send us a link where we can see it?

    Thank you

    Hey Artem –

You sent me the code, but you sent us so much code, I don’t remember what is what!

Trying to go thru all our old conversations, makes me bleary eyed!

Yes, the child theme is activated.

Do you want a link to the website, to see the product pages, or do you want admin access to the site?

I will include a link to one of the products that shows the add’l info tab, and one product that doesn’t.

Let me know if you need login info.

    Thanks.

In this case, you need to add the code again. Here is an article from WooCommerce documentation that will help you to do this https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/editing-product-data-tabs/

    Hi Artem –

Thanks for the link again, but why isn’t it working now?

If that is the code you sent us before, then it is already in the css files of our Child Theme, since older products are not showing that add’l info tab.

Why wouldn’t the code then work on new products that are loaded?

Isn’t it a little redundant to keep adding the same code, over and over again?

If the tab is shown on your products that the code is not added at all. It should disable it globally. Just add the code from the article and you will fix this.
